Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa Jr Senators grabbed a 5-1 victory on Wednesday night over the Brockville Braves to advance to the Bogart Cup Finals where they will face the Carleton Place Canadians for the third straight season.
Finn Evans (2G), Nick Lalonde (1G, 1A), Pierre-Luc Veillette (1G), and Griffin McGregor (1G), had the goals, while Connor Hicks made 16 saves for his 8th win of the postseason.
Jordi Jefferson had the lone goal for the Braves, while goaltender Justin Evenson finished with 37 saves in the losing effort.
With the Jr Sent off to the Bogart Cup to face Carleton Place, both teams have earned an automatic entry into the Fred Page Cup (Eastern Ontario Championships) which Ottawa hosts May 2-6.
