SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I., TO HOST 2026 CENTENNIAL CUP, PRESENTED BY TIM HORTONS

Summerside Western Capitals to welcome CJHL champions to Canada’s National Junior A Championship

Hockey Canada and the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) have announced that the 2026 Centennial Cup, presented by Tim Hortons, will be hosted in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. The Summerside Western Capitals of the Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) will welcome Junior A champions from across the CJHL to Consolidated Credit Union Place from May 7–17, 2026.

This marks the sixth time Prince Edward Island has hosted the national tournament, and the fourth time for Summerside, following events in 1989, 1997, and 2013.

After a strong showing from the Central Canada Hockey League’s (CCHL) Rockland Nationals in 2025, we look forward to seeing who will represent the CCHL in 2026.

Full details, including game schedules, ticket packages, and broadcast coverage, will be released at a later date. Fans are encouraged to sign up for updates and early ticket access through Hockey Canada Insider.
