Release | Tyler Cyr joins CCHL as Broadcasting Manager

OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the hiring of Tyler Cyr as its Broadcasting Manager. With a strong foundation in broadcasting operations, Tyler has demonstrated his expertise as the Director of Broadcasting for the Navan Grads since 2022 and also spent time with various other CCHL clubs as a play-by-play broadcaster with CKDJ 107.9 Radio.

A graduate of the Algonquin College Radio Broadcasting program, Tyler is set to help enhance components for the leagues broadcasting and communications department.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tyler to our league,” said Commissioner Sean Marcellus. “With his impressive experience with the Navan Grads, Tyler is well-versed in broadcasting and brings a valuable skill set to our leagues broadcast operations. We have no doubt that his expertise, along with the support of Director of Broadcasting Whit Prophet, will elevate our league’s broadcasting initiatives to new heights.”

“It has been a goal of mine to work in the CCHL, but more importantly for the CCHL, and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to do so for this upcoming season and hopefully many more after,” commented Cyr.

“We warmly welcome Tyler to our league and are excited to collaborate on advancing our broadcasting efforts together,” added Marcellus.
