Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that CCHL’s Ted Ward has been named the 2023/24 Sam Pollock Award recipient for his dedication and outstanding contributions to the CCHL.
This award is given to a league staff member or volunteer who has presented outstanding contributions to the league.
“Ted isn’t just a longstanding member of our executive team, he’s also someone who holds our group together,” said Commissioner Sean Marcellus. “Obviously he’s our go-to-guy for all things finance, but he’s also someone you can always count on for a chat or some solid advice. Ted’s opinion is like gold and everyone values it. We are lucky to have a Ted Ward in the CCHL family. He’s not just a colleague; he’s a great friend and incredibly deserving of the Sam Pollock Award.”
