Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Mason Detre has been named the 2023/24 Chris Messina Broadcasting Award recipient.
“A experienced Broadcaster of 8+ years in the Central Canada Hockey League, including multiple championship runs with the Ottawa Junior Senators, Mason created and fulfilled an era of the CCHL through broadcasting.
Mason’s impact on the game here in Ottawa has been massive and continues to grow year to year. His significant passion to his team, his role on the team and his dedication to said role is beyond anyone in the CCHL and this award is not only much deserved but in a sense, icing on the top of the cake in a long list of achievements, accolades and experience.
