Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Kanata Lasers goaltender Jean-Philippe Tourigny has been named the HockeyHair Academic University/College Player of the Month for December.
The 2000 born Stittsville, ON native attends Algonquin College where he was a superstar in the classroom in December with two A+ course grades and two A course grades respectively. On the ice he posted a 2-1-0-1 record with a 3.20 GAA and .926 SV%.
Over the course of the season, Tourigny has a 11-5-0-4 record with a 3.28 GAA, .908 SV% and 1 shutout.
