OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Ottawa Junior Senators forward Chase Yanni has been named the Pro Hockey Life High School Academic Player of the Month for October.
The 2007 born Alliston, ON native attends Blyth Academy where he has an 86% average in Functions and 83% average in English.
On the ice, Chase plays on the top Powerplay unit and is also used on the Penalty Kill. He leads all CCHL rookie skaters in Goals (6) and is tied for 1st in Points (10) in 15 games of action. His 3 game-winning goals are tied for 1st in the entire CCHL.
