Release | CCHL Announces 2019-20 All-Rookie Team

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the 2019-20 All-Rookie Team.

 

FORWARD | DOVAR TINLING

The 2003 born Pointe-Claire, QC native led all rookie skaters with 51 points (21G, 30A) in 50 games played this season with the Hawkesbury Hawks. He also represented Canada at both the World U17 Championships and World Junior A Challenge. 

 

FORWARD | RYAN GILLESPIE

The 2003 Toronto, ON native finished third in scoring among CCHL rookies with 41 points (22G, 19A) in 59 games of action with the Brockville Braves. His 22 goals were second most among rookies. 

 

FORWARD | EVAN BOUCHER

The 2002 born Ottawa, ON native finished first in Goals (23) among rookies, while finishing fifth overall in Points (37) in 53 games of action with the Nepean Raiders.

 

DEFENSEMAN | BEN BRUNETTE

The 2002 born North Bay, ON native finished second among rookie defenders with 25 points (7G, 18A) in 58 games of action with the Carleton Place Canadians.

 

DEFENSEMAN | RANVIR GILL-SHANE

The 2003 born Kanata, ON native led all rookie defensemen with 27 points (8G, 19A) in 51 games played between the Ottawa Jr Senators and Kanata Lasers.

 

GOALTENDER | REECE PROULX

The 2002 born North Bay, ON native led all rookie netminders in every major statistical category, posting a 26-24-1 record with a 2.94 GAA, .920 SV%, and 2 shutouts with the Pembroke Lumber Kings.
