Release | Canadians Devon Levi named 2019-20 CCHL Most Valuable Player

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Carleton Place Canadians goaltender Devon Levi has been named the 2019-20 Most Valuable Player.

The 2001 born Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC native and Northeastern University commit finished tops in the CCHL for Wins (34), GAA (1.47), SV% (.941), and Shutouts (8). On top of back-stopping Carleton Place to their seventh straight regular season title, Levi also represented Canada East at the 2019 World Junior A Challenge, helping them to a Silver Medal while being named tournament MVP.

“Devon is just a special person and athlete,” said Canadians Head Coach Jason Clarke. “There is not a selfish bone in his body, which makes him the best teammate I have ever seen in this program in over 11 years. He has been an MVP to his teammates, goalie partner, our organization and community. His personality and his love for being at the rink is infectious.”
