Commitment Alert | Canadians Brett Thorne commits to NCAA Alaska Anchorage

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Carleton Place Canadians are pleased to announce that 1999 born defenseman Brett Thorne has committed to attend NCAA Alaska Anchorage for 2019-20.

“I am extremely excited to have finally made my decision to play in Alaska,” said Thorne. “The CCHL and Carleton Place Canadians have really helped my game develop to where it needed to be to reach the next level. It is going to be a great fit, the hard work does not stop now, it just continues,” Thorne added.

The Bedford, NS native leads all CCHL defensemen with 17 points (4G, 13A) in 19 games of action. In 80 career regular season and playoff games, Thorne has tallied 11 goals and totaled 55 points.
