Release | Bears’ Pat Malloy Named General Manager of the Year

OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Pat Malloy from the Smiths Falls Bears has been named 2023/24 General Manager of the Year, winning the award in back-to-back seasons.

Malloy, 47, is in his fifth season as the as General Manager of the Bears after joining the team back in the Summer of 2019.

This season, Malloy, who is also Head Coach of the Bears, has helped lead the club to a Robinson Division best record of 34-15-1-2.

The Bears have secured a Top 4 seed and are waiting to find out who their first round opponent will be in the 2023-24 Bogart Cup Playoffs.
