RECAP I Jr. Senators & Hawks earn victories

Ottawa, ON- On a light Saturday night time changing schedule, Ottawa and Hawkesbury earn big two points.

Ottawa 4 Smiths Falls 1

This one saw the goalies take charge early one (Paddock; 30 saves-OJS & Morrow; 19 saves- SF) before the Ottawa offense took charge.   With all 5 goals in the 3rd period, fans left happy.  Ottawa got goals from Matsukubo-11th & 12th, Demers-4th & Pelchat-2nd.  Smiths Falls goal was scored by Seed-1st.

Hawkesbury 9 Renfrew 1

In what was Ryan Leonard’s return to Renfrew but as part of the opposition, his Hawks made sure he went home happy.    The Hawks got 2 in the 1st, 3 in the 2nd and 4 in the 3rd to secure the win.    The Wolves actually opened the scoring with Attard- 2nd scoring 2 mins in.   It was then all Hawks.   Leading the way was sniper Remi Gelinas who scored 4 and now has a league leading 16 goals.  Jackson Porco with 3 assists.
