RECAP I 73’s go into Cornwall and grab big 2 points

Ottawa, ON- In the lone game Thursday night the Kemptville 73’s go into Cornwall and come away with 2 goals; and points.

Kemptville 2 Cornwall 2

For the longest time, fans and players alike thought this would be a rare double shutout.   That was until Emile Trottier (6th) opened the scoring early in the 3rd period.   Halfway through the period, Aidan Stubbings (2nd) would ice it for the 73’s.    Goaltender Trenten Bennett (29 save shutout) was again rock solid in net.    In a losing effort, Cohen Lesperance-Spack made 19 saves.

UP NEXT: Cornwall pays a visit to Ottawa for a Saturday night matchup while Kemptville plays for the second night in as many days as they take on the Carleton Place Canadians Friday night.   Both matchups have a 7:30pm puck drop
