The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) is pleased to announce the CCM/HESN Player of the Week is Drew Shields of the Gloucester Rangers.

Shields netted 5 goals including the game winner against the Pembroke Lumber Kings which helped the Rangers to a 2-2-0-1 record the past week.  The Gloucester forward has been a model of consistency all season and earned a 2nd and 3rd game star.  The Leitrim, ON native is the heart and soul of the team, a staple on their penalty kill and one of the hardest working players in the league.  He is one of the main reasons the Rangers are still in play-off contention.

Honorable Mention: G Connor Hughes (Carleton Place Canadians) and F Willem Gauthier (Kanata Lasers)
