Pembroke downs Gloucester in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

 

The Pembroke Lumber Kings' Vincent Guimond scored 14:16 into overtime to beat the Gloucester Rangers, 3-2 (OT).

 

Pembroke was paced by Fraser Turner, who had one goal. Turner scored 3:02 into overtime to make the score 3-3. Nicolas Vlahos assisted on the tally.

Others who scored for Pembroke included Kris Lalonde and Brock Rumbaugh, who each put in one. In addition, Pembroke received assists from Brett Horn, who had two and Brandon Zullo and Stephen Cooney, who contributed one each.

Gloucester was helped by Jordan Renaud, who tallied one goal. Renaud scored short handed 11:44 into the second period to make the score 2-2. The Rangers were on a disadvantage when Charles Gauthier went off the ice for tripping. Dan Martin picked up the assist. Gloucester also got a goal from Drew Shields as well. Other players who recorded assists for Gloucester were Sander Boroczky and Matt Adams, who each chipped in one.

Sean Green rejected 26 shots on goal for the Lumber Kings. Pembroke incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Doug Johnston made 26 saves for Gloucester on 29 shots. The Rangers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
