Owen Guy, who leads the Kemptville 73's with 19 goals and sits third with 36 points in 41 games has verbally committed to Lake Superior State University for the 2017-18 school year.
The 18-year old Mountain, ON native shows his value every game with his quickness and puck skills. He is very agile which allows him to work his way through tight spots and earn the open ice to make plays. Although he isn't the biggest guy or most explosive skater, his vision and hockey sense allow him to draw plenty of attention which opens the ice up for his teammates.
Through 103 games with the 73's, Guy has produced 34 goals and 68 points. He will spend the remainder of this season as well as the 2016-17 season in Junior developing his game before making the jump to the college circuit.
