The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Sean Rappleyea of the Ottawa Jr Senators has been named 2015-16 Top Defenseman.
The 5-11, 177 lb native of South Amboy, NJ is in his second and final season with the Jr Sens and has been an extremely reliable commodity on the back-end for them for the past two seasons.
This season he posted 3 goals and 38 points placing him 6th overall in blue-line scoring while also playing a steady defensive game. He has the ability to dictate a game solely based off of his hockey sense, skating, and puck moving ability.
He is expected to play at the college level next season.
