CARLETON PLACE, ON – In the lone Saturday night contest, the Ottawa Junior Senators defeated the Carleton Place Canadians.

Thomas Freel tallied a hat-trick to take the sole lead in the CCHL goal-scoring race with 35 on the season, Philippe Jacques and Julian Recine added singles, while William Desmarais made 29-saves as Ottawa improved to 46-6-2-2 on the season. Carleton Place, who fell to 18-32-2-3, had goals from Evan Jamieson and Derek Hamilton, while Joe Chambers made 31-saves in the loss.
