Morning Recap | Junior Senators and Grads get in win column Wednesday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Two games across the CCHL region on Wednesday night as the Ottawa Junior Senators and Navan Grads picked up victories.

 

OTTAWA 3 HAWKESBURY 2

Simon Isabelle, Bodie Nobes, and Thomas Freel tallied goals, while William Desmarais made 26-saves as the Ottawa Junior Senators improved to a CCHL-best 22-3-1-1 on the year. Hawkesbury, who saw their record fall to 17-9-1-2, had goals from Jeremy Tremblay and Joshua Spratt, while Dimitri Pelekos made 28-saves in the losing effort.

Ryan Burke and Owen Parsons scored twice, Justin Louette-Isaac, Blake Butler, Aidan Puley, and Devyn Orpana also found the net, while Ben West made 27-saves as Navan improved their season record to 15-10-0-1. Nepean, who dropped to 6-21-1-0 on the year, had goals from Costa Touliopolous, Owen Hollingsworth, Rylan Iwachniuk, and Louis Chabot, while Nathan Loisel made 42-saves in the loss.
