Morning Recap | Jr Senators and Colts winners Wednesday night

 

Ottawa, ON – Two games across the CCHL region on Wednesday saw the Ottawa Jr Senators and Cornwall Colts picking up victories.

 

F | OTTAWA 5 CARLETON PLACE 4 SO

Ethan Mulhearn (2), Maxime Blanchard, and Brent Broaders scored in regulation, Broaders went on to add the Shootout winner, while Felix Schnell made 35-saves as Ottawa improved their season record to 21-13-2-0. Carleton Place, who saw their record fall to 28-3-3-2, had goals from David Gagnon (2), Jake Code, and Cameron Patton.

 

F | CORNWALL 3 NEPEAN 2

Emerick Nadeau (2), and Christophe Cote found the back of the net, while Rico Dimatteo made 35-saves as Cornwall saw their record improve to 12-21-1-1. Nepean fell to 5-27-1-2, getting goals from Beau Binnie and Evan Boucher, while Keenan Alnahas made 47-saves in the losing effort.
