Morning Recap | Four Games Across CCHL Region Friday

 

OTTAWA, ON – There were four games of CCHL action Friday night which saw victories from the Rockland Nationals, Brockville Braves, Pembroke Lumber Kings, and Kemptville 73’s.

 

ROCKLAND 4 OTTAWA 3 SO

Giovanni Morneau, Manny Cabral, and Patrick Lanthier scored in regulation, Gabriel Filion netted the shootout winner, while Jack McGovern made 37-saves as Rockland improved their season record to 17-19-2-1. Ottawa, who fell to 34-4-2-2, had goals from Alexander Park, Vincent Velocci, and James Taylor, while William Desmarais made 23-saves in the losing effort.

 

BROCKVILLE 3 SMITHS FALLS 2

Colin Elliott, Luke Tchor, and Colin Stacey found the back of the net, while Brandon Abbott made 18-saves as Brockville improved to 26-12-0-2 on the season. Smiths Falls, who dropped to 14-24-2-0, had goals from Alec Hamady and Conor Ronayne, while Dalton McBride made 19-saves in the loss.

 

PEMBROKE 4 CARLETON PLACE 3

Joe Jordan scored two goals, Gavin Ewles and Carter Vollett added singles, while Reece Proulx made 17-saves as Pembroke improved to 25-12-2-2 on the year. Carleton Place, who fell to 15-23-1-3, had a two-goal performance from Gino Colangelo and a single from Ethan Woolsey, while Brady McEwan made 31-saves in the losing effort.

 

KEMPTVILLE 6 NAVAN 3

Alexander Caulfield, Matthew O’Doherty, Devon Savignac, Brock Krulicki, Grady Logue, and Hunter Brazier tallied goals, while Connor Blackwood made 38-saves as Kemptville improved their record on the year to 22-14-3-2. Navan, who fell to 21-16-0-1, had two goals from Devyn Orpana and a single from Nicholas Paone, while Ben West made 29-saves in the loss after in a relief appearance.
