Morning Recap | Four Games Across CCHL on Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Sunday offered up four games of CCHL action, seeing victories from the Rockland Nationals, Nepean Raiders, Kemptville 73’s, and Pembroke Lumber Kings.

 

ROCKLAND 4 NAVAN 3

William Collins scored two goals, Giovanni Morneau and Yanic Crete also found the net, while Jack McGovern made 20-saves as Rockland improved their season record to 18-19-2-1. Navan, who fell to 21-17-0-1, had goals from Ryan Burke, Alec Lovisek, and Jack Cook, while Ben West made 26-saves on the losing end of things.

 

NEPEAN 5 CORNWALL 3

Anthony Rivard scored twice, Ryan Liverman, Samuel Beaulne, and Louis Chabot added singles, while Nathan Loisel made 38-saves as Nepean improved to 11-29-1-0 on the season. Cornwall, who dropped to 9-27-3-4, had goals from Aaron Shaw, Tristan Miron, and Bradley Fraser, while Dax Easter made 27-saves in the loss.

 

KEMPTVILLE 5 CARLETON PLACE 2

Adam Cavallin, Devon Savignac, Johnny Howie, Grant Eastwood, and Hunter Brazier found the back of the net, while Tyler Laureault made 31-saves as Kemptville improved to 23-14-3-2. Carleton Place, who fell to 15-24-1-3, had goals from Marco Iozzo and Mark MacPhee, while Joe Chambers made 22-saves in the loss.

 

PEMBROKE 2 HAWKESBURY 0

Joe Jordan and Mark Andrews scored goals, while Reece Proulx was exceptional with the 42-save shutout as Pembroke improved to 26-12-2-2 on the year. Hawkesbury, who fell to 28-10-2-2, had a 27-save effort in net from Matthew Tovell in the losing effort.
