Morning Recap | Four Games Across CCHL circuit Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games of CCHL action on Sunday saw the Kemptville 73’s, Renfrew Wolves, Smiths Falls Bears, and Ottawa Junior Senators claim victories.

 

KEMPTVILLE 5 ROCKLAND 2

Patrick Larkin and Jeff Taylor scored twice, Brock Krulicki added a single, while Tyler Laureault made 32-saves as Kemptville finished their regular season with a 29-18-5-3 record and now wait to find out who their playoff opponent will be. Rockland, who dropped to 23-24-4-2, had goals from Nick White and Callum Craft, while Charles Schenkel made 37-saves in the losing effort.

 

RENFREW 3 BROCKVILLE 1

Tyson Phare, Tyler Schweitzer, and Mathieu Parent tallied goals, while Will Craig made 37-saves, as Renfrew improved to 34-17-1-2. Brockville, who fell to 35-17-0-2, had their lone goal from Justin Dauphinais, while Sami Molu made 24-saves in the loss.

 

SMITHS FALLS 5 NAVAN 2

Conor Ronayne had his second hat-trick in as many games, Sean James and Brody Fournier also scored, while Will McEvoy made 44-saves as Smiths Falls continued their hot play to improve to 23-25-3-1, keeping their playoff hopes alive. Navan, who fell to 26-24-1-2, had goals from Owen Parsons and Alec Lovisek, while Mathis Mainville made 19-saves in a relief appearance. 

 

OTTAWA 3 PEMBROKE 1

Julian Recine scored twice, Anthony Provost added a single, while Zachary Bowen made 39-saves as Ottawa improved their CCHL-best record to 43-6-2-2. Pembroke, who fell to 30-20-2-2, had their lone score from Jacob Zwirecki, while Reece Proulx made 23-saves in the losing effort.
