Morning Recap | Five Games make up busy Friday night

 

Ottawa, ON – A busy Friday night saw 10 teams in action across the CCHL region as the Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, Smiths Falls Bears, Kanata Lasers, and Nepean Raiders all came out victorious.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 5 OTTAWA 2

Josh Spratt (2), Simon Kerr, Will Torriani, and Alex Lachapelle scored goals, while Jake Begley made 22-saves as Brockville won their 10th straight game to improve to 17-4-3-0 on the season. Ottawa, who had goals from Tucker McIntosh and Ethan Mulhearn, saw their record fall to 17-9-1-0.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 5 PEMBROKE 2

Patrick Callahan (2), Mathieu Sabourin, Luke Grainger, and Azzaro Tinling tallied goals, while Zach Johnson made 34-saves as Hawkesbury improved their season record to 13-11-1-0. Pembroke fell to 13-12-0-0, receiving goals from Andrew Poulias and Fletcher Anderson.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 6 KEMPTVILLE 1

Brody Fournier, Alex Lewis, Theo Todd, Noah Adams, Cameron McLean, and Andre Simard all found the back of the net, while Jake Smith made 39-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 10-12-0-1 on the year. Kemptville saw their record drop to 8-14-3-0.

Lukash Matthews (2), Mathieu Parent, Paul Larabie, Trevor Poeze, and Dante Hoffman all tallied goals, while Jean-Philippe Tourigny made 27-saves as Kanata improved to 14-9-1-2 on the season. Rockland, who saw their record fall to 16-8-0-1, had goals from Noah Doyle, Cameron Last, Matthew Vermaeten, and Gunnar Smith.

 

F | NEPEAN 5 NAVAN 2

Alex Rossides, Josh Shimizu, Jack Miles, Matt McQuade, and William Venne were the goal scorers, while Keenan Alnahas made 45-saves as Nepean improved to 4-20-1-1 on the season. Navan saw their record fall to 10-16-0-0.
