Morning Recap | Busy Friday night in the CCHL with five games around the region

 

Ottawa, ON – A busy Friday night saw five games played across the CCHL region as the Ottawa Jr Senators, Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, Pembroke Lumber Kings, and Carleton Place Canadians all picked up victories.

Christophe Cote (2), Ethan Mulhearn, Julian Recine, and Finnegan Kilmurray tallied goals, while Bryan Landsberger had a 33-save shutout as Ottawa improved to 28-24-2-0 on the season. Navan saw their record fall to 23-29-1-0.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 5 KEMPTVILLE 2

Parker Casey, Josh Spratt, Austin Paul, Benjamin Dirven, and Ryan Gillespie tallied goals, while Jake Begley made 22-saves as Brockville improved their season record to 34-11-3-4. Kemptville fell to 20-28-4-0 with the loss.

Dovar Tinling netted a hat-trick, Luke Grainger and Patrick Callahan also hit the back of the net, while Mathieu Chenier made 41-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 31-19-2-0 on the year. Rockland saw their record fall to 35-17-0-2.

Andrew Poulias, Brady Egan, Fletcher Anderson, and Cameron Hough all netted goals, while Reece Proulx made 29-saves as Pembroke improved to 28-22-2-1 on the year. Smiths Falls saw their record fall to 28-19-2-2.

Cameron Patton scored a hat-trick, Brett Thorne scored twice, Ryan Bonfield, Reece Bolton, Jake Code, and Steven Townley added singles, while Addison Lawrence made 16-saves as Carleton Place improved their record to a CCHL best 43-7-3-2 on the season. Kanata saw their record fall to 22-26-2-5.
