Morning Recap | Hawks and Bears winners Thursday night

 

Ottawa, ON – Two games of CCHL action Thursday saw the Hawkesbury Hawks and Smiths Falls Bears pick up wins.

Kris Pietroniro scored twice, Patrick Callahan and Jeremy Quesnel also found the back of the net, while Zach Johnson made 22-saves as Hawkesbury improved their season record to 30-19-2-0. Cornwall fell to 18-32-1-3 on the season.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 7 KANATA 1

Ryan Richardson netted a hat trick, Justin Trudel, Brendan Dempsey, Brent Broaders, and Tate Leeson added singles, while Jake Smith made 46-saves as Smiths Falls continued their hot play to improve to 28-18-2-2 on the season. Kanata saw their record fall to 22-25-2-5 on the year.
