Morning Recap | Braves, Hawks, Lumber Kings, and Canadians win Friday

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games across the CCHL circuit on Friday night saw victories from the Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, Pembroke Lumber Kings, and Carleton Place Canadians.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 3 KEMPTVILLE 1

Clay Korpi, Ryan Gillespie, and Justin McRae found the back of the net, while Jake Begley made 33-saves as Brockville improved to 14-4-3-0 on the season. Madoka Suzuki scored the lone Kemptville goal, while William Anderson made 40-saves in the losing effort as the 73’s saw their record fall to 8-12-2-0.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 4 NEPEAN 2

Jeremy Quesnel, Jeremie Payant, Zachary Lefebvre, and Jaxon Camp tallied goals, while Zach Johnson made 20-saves in his debut as Hawkesbury improved to 12-11-0-0. Nepean, who fell to 3-18-1-1, had goals from Josh Shimizu and Beau Binnie, while Tyler Laureault made 27-saves.

 

F | PEMBROKE 8 SMITHS FALLS 5

Brady Egan had a hat-trick, Jesse Kirkby scored twice, while Cameron Hough, Dante Moretti, and Fletcher Anderson also scored goals as Pembroke improved to 13-10-0-0 on the season. Theo Todd had two goals, while Thomas Quick, Brendan Dempsey, and Tate Leeson also found the net as Smiths Falls saw their record fall to 9-11-0-1.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 5 ROCKLAND 1

Ryland Mosley scored a hat-trick, Brett Thorne and Andrej Hromic also scored, while Devon Levi made 22-saves as Carleton Place improved to 20-3-2-0 on the year. Rockland saw their record fall to 15-7-0-1.
