OTTAWA, ON – A full slate of CCHL games Friday night saw victories from the Ottawa Junior Senators, Hawkesbury Hawks, Smiths Falls Bears, Renfrew Wolves, Rockland Nationals, and Pembroke Lumber Kings

 

OTTAWA 5 BROCKVILLE 2

Thomas Freel, Julian Recine, Massimo Gentile, Vincent Velocci, and Thomas Freel scored goals, while William Desmarais made 16-saves as Ottawa improved to 40-6-2-2 on the season. Brockville, who fell to 34-15-0-2, had goals from Colin Elliott and Justin Dauphinais, while Sami Molu made 33-saves in the losing effort.

 

HAWKESBURY 3 NAVAN 2 SO

Landon Brownlee and Thomas Cusson scored in regulation, Cusson scored again in the shootout, as did Willyam Gendron, while Matthew Tovell made 38-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 34-11-3-2 on the season. Navan, who fell to 25-20-1-2, had goals from Alec Lovisek and Devyn Orpana, while Ben West made 35-saves on the losing end of things.

 

SMITHS FALLS 5 NEPEAN 0

Thomas Gangl, Owen Watson, Will Rivet, Sean James, and Riley Thompson found the back of the net, while Will McEvoy had a 23-save shutout as Smiths Falls improved on the season to 20-25-2-1. Nepean dropped their record to 11-37-2-0.

 

RENFREW 4 KEMPTVILLE 3 SO

Charlie Johnson scored twice in regulation and added the shootout winner, Elvis Slack also scored, while Will Craig made 34-saves as Renfrew improved on the year to 31-16-1-1. Kemptville, who dropped to 25-17-5-3, had goals from Hunter Brazier, Chase Lammi, and Brock Krulicki, while Tyler Laureault made 36-saves in the losing effort.

 

ROCKLAND 2 CORNWALL 1

William Collins and Yanic Crete tallied goals, while Jack McGovern made 32-saves as Rockland improved their record to 21-22-4-2. Cornwall, who fell to 12-31-3-4 had their lone goal from Bradley Fraser, while Emile Savoie made 29-saves in the loss.

 

PEMBROKE 4 CARLETON PLACE 3 OT

Jesse Kirkby scored all four goals, while Reece Proulx made 27-saves as Pembroke improved to 28-18-2-2. Carleton Place, who fell to 17-29-2-3, had goals from Brandon Walker, Liam Goreski, and Matteo Disipio, while Joe Chambers made 38-saves in the loss.
