The Kemptville 73’s held off a late push to defeat the Nepean Raiders 6-5 on Wednesday night at the Nepean Sportsplex. Mbarushimana led the way for Kemptville with two goals, including a power-play marker early in the third. Beaulieu, Hennessy, Mullins, and Montoni also scored, with Montoni sealing the win with an empty-netter at 19:12. Nepean’s offense was paced by Campbell, Williamson, English, Tellier, and Bertrand. Both teams combined for 89 shots, with Donovan making 39 saves for the win. Gedraitis also made 39 saves in the loss for Nepean.
