The Central Canada Hockey League and Kemptville 73’s are pleased to announce that ’98 born winger Bobby Dow has committed to attend NCAA Mercyhurst University for 2018-19 school year.

The 6-1, 175 lb Ottawa, ON native is in his second full season with the 73’s where he has totaled 10 goals and 26 points through 23 games.  As a rookie in 2015-16, Dow scored 17 goals and added 21 assists for 38 points in 55 games.

Known as a gritty “in your face” type of player who won’t shy away from the tough areas of the ice, Dow also boasts a strong skill-set including good vision and explosiveness and change of pace in his skating.  He is strong on both sides of the puck and creates most of his offensive opportunities solely off his hard work and high compete level.

Dow will continue to work on the finer points of his game and develop more good work habits over this season and next before he makes the jump to the college level.
