The Hawkesbury Hawks Jr A Hockey club, is pleased to announce they have been selected to face the 2017 World Junior team from Lativa in an exhibition game Friday December 23rd, 2016. Robert Hartley Arena will be a full house for a 7:30pm puck drop.
The 41st World Junior Ice Hockey Championship will be co-hosted in Montreal and Toronto from December 26th to January 5th. With Hawkesbury being in such close proximity Montreal, the host city to the Latvian team, logistically Hawkesbury was a good location for an exhibition game.

The Hawks' staff plan to show the Latvian players a real Canadian Christmas, by offering the a traditional Christmas dinner after the game.
Tickets must be purchased in advance for $10 each. The same price applies to all ages.
Tickets are limited to 1000 and will sell quickly.
