Diclemente leads Pembroke to victory over Carleton Place

With the win, Pembroke evened the series at one-one in the best of seven showdown

Carleton Place threw everything they had at Lumber Kings's Boyd Diclemente, but he responded by making 36 saves to secure the win.

Pembroke were led by Alex Gilmour, who had one goal and one assist. Gilmour scored in overtime to make the score 2-1 Pembroke. Derek Varrin provided the assist.

Lumber Kings put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Canadians to score on any of their three power plays.Carleton Place were unable to stop Pembroke from sending pucks towards the net, and Pembroke eventually piled up 47 shots on goal.

Pembroke also got points from Varrin, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for Pembroke came via Ben VanOoteghem, who had one.
