Kanata 2, Hawkesbury 0 

Gabriel Carriere made 24 saves for his third shut-out of the season, his first since November 30th at Nepean. With the win, Carriere has not lost a game in regulation in 18 straight games, going 17-0-1 during that time. December’s third star of the month, Bennett Stockdale also added his 11th goal of the year in the win. 

Kanata is now 6-0-2 since the start of December. 

In the Hawkesbury loss, they went 0-7 on the power-play and were out-shot 40-24. Petizian made 39 saves for the games first star.  

Rockland 6, Cornwall 3

In Rockland’s win, Shawn Kennedy recorded his first multi-point game of the season (1G/2A) while Coykendall extended his point streak to four games with two points tonight (1G/1A) and also netted his seventh multi-point total of the year. 

The nationals are now six point behind Cornwall for sixth in the CCHL standings and now remain one game under .500 at 18-19-1-2. 

Cornwall’s Tommy Tanner scores two points (1G/1A) to even his point total to 23 points in 23 games. The Colts were out-shot 40-22 in the loss.
