Commitment Alert | Nationals Raphaël Gosselin commits to Wisconsin-Stout for 2018-19

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Rockland Nationals are pleased to announce that ’97 born F Raphaël Gosselin has committed to NCAA D3 Wisconsin-Stout for the 2018-19 school year.

The Quebec, QC native joined the Nationals just before the CJHL Trade Deadline when he came over from the Cowichan Valley Capitals of the BCHL.  In 19 games with Rockland, Gosselin totalled 9 points (5G, 4A). He would also add 1 assist in 5 playoff games.

“Raphael is a highly skilled winger who gelled with our group right away once we acquired him late last year”, said Nationals Head Coach Dan Sauve. “Raph played some of his best hockey in the playoffs and that speaks volumes about his character. He was a pleasure to coach and has a bright future ahead of him. The Rockland Nationals organization is proud to see Raph continue his studies at Wisconsin-Stout and wish him nothing but the best. He is a terrific young man both on and off the ice and he will be a great ambassador for the Nats.

Gosselin now heads to the University of Wisconsin-Stout of the NCAA D3 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and will join the Blue Devils Hockey Program.
