Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Rockland Nationals are pleased to announce that forward Benjamin Pruneau has committed to U Sports Royal Military College for the 2019-20 season.
The 1998 born Gatineau, QC native recently completed his third season in the CCHL, where he totaled 23 points (8G, 15A) in 51 games of action. He went on to add 3 points (1G, 2A) in 10 playoff games.
In 155 combined regular season and playoff appearances with the Nationals, Gloucester Rangers, and Ottawa Jr Senators, the two-way forward tallied 26 goals and totaled 61 points.
Prior to his time in the CCHL, Pruneau skated as a member of the Gatineau L’Intrépide Midget AAA program.
He will bring a wealth of experience and a welcomed defensive game to the Paladins hockey program.
