Commitment Alert | Jr Senators Darcy Walsh commits to NCAA Robert Morris University

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Ottawa Jr Senators are pleased to announce that Darcy Walsh has committed to NCAA Robert Morris University for the 2019-20 season.

The 1999 born Ottawa, ON native is currently tied for first in the CCHL in Points (26) and Goals (14) with Brockville’s Eric Faith.  In 195 career regular season and playoff games, Walsh has 121 points (52G, 69A).

“I am very excited and honoured for the opportunity to play NCAA Division 1 hockey at Robert Morris University,” said Walsh. “I want to thank my family, teammates, and coaches for their dedication along the way. My experience in the CCHL has been great and I have learned a lot about what it takes to play at the next level and most importantly I have developed my game tremendously. Getting traded to Ottawa at 17 was probably the best thing that has happened to me as it is a great organization with an unbelievable coaching staff. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and dedication,” added Walsh.

Walsh will join other CCHL alumni at Robert Morris such as Francis Marotte (Ottawa), Nick Lalonde (Ottawa), Grant Hebert (Navan), Aidan Girduckis (Carleton Place), Geoff Lawson (Ottawa), and Dyllan Lubbesmeyer (Smiths Falls).
