Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Hawkesbury Hawks are pleased to announce that forward Luke Grainger has committed to NCAA Western Michigan University for the 2020-21 season.

The 1999 born Beaconsfield, QC native currently sits second overall in CCHL scoring with 34 points (15G, 19A) in 21 games. His 1.62 Pts/GP is tops among all players.  In 87 total combined regular season and playoff games, he has totaled 80 points (32G, 48A).

“I’m very happy to see Luke reach his goal of playing Division 1 hockey,” said Hawks General Manager and Head Coach Rick Dorval. “He came here believing in the process and this opportunity is the reward for his hard work everyday on and off of the ice.”

Grainger joins Azzaro Tinling (University of Vermont) on Hawkesbury Hawks Division 1 commitments for next season.
