Commitment Alert | Grads Zack Hoffman commits to U Sports Saint Mary’s University

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Navan Grads are pleased to announce that 2018-19 CCHL Most Valuable Player and Defenseman of the Year Zack Hoffman has committed to U Sports Saint Mary’s University for the 2019-20 season.

The 1998 born Newcastle, ON native completed his final season of junior hockey (first in the CCHL w/ the Grads) where he amassed 46 points (11G, 35A) in 66 combined regular season and playoff games. For his efforts, the towering two-way defenseman earned himself CCHL Most Valuable Player and Defenseman of the Year honours. 

He will now take the next step of his hockey career with the Saint Mary’s Huskies hockey program based out of Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, NS. The Huskies 

“Zack has been a leader for us both on and off the ice since day one,” said Grads Head Coach Marty Abrams. “We are fortunate that he selected our program for his last year of junior hockey. Zack has the ability to control the game and is ready for the next level. The Grads organization is extremely proud of Zack and his accomplishments this season and wish him the best of luck at Saint Mary’s.”
