Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Brockville Braves are pleased to announce that forward Nicholas Hawkins has committed to NCAA Division 3 Hamilton College for the 2019-20 season.
The 1998 born Westminister, CO native recently completed his second season with the Braves, where he finished 3rd overall in team scoring with 42 points (17G, 25A) in 62 games. In 143 career regular season and playoff games, Hawkins totaled 89 points (31G, 58A).
“Nick is a leader, a great teammate, and was a true pleasure to coach,” said Braves Head Coach Jesse Winchester. “He has been an integral part of our core group since the day he arrived in Brockville. His impact on our team and in our community will be greatly missed. His commitment to Hamilton College is well deserved and we wish him continued success as he begins this new journey.”
Before his time in the CCHL, Hawkins skated in the MPHL for Gilmour Academy.
