The Central Canada Hockey League and Cornwall Colts are pleased to announce that forward Nick Lalonde has committed to attend NCAA Robert Morris University for 2018-19.

The ’98 born Brooklin, ON native is in his third season with the Colts and continues to improve each time he steps on the ice.  To his credit, his 43 points (16G, 27A) lead all CCHL skaters.  In 142 career games, he has totaled 50 goals and 116 points.

He recently posted 2 goals and 2 assists in 7 games for Team CCHL Robinson at the Eastern Canada All-Star Challenge.  After his strong showing he earned an invite to the Team Canada East Tryout Camp for the upcoming World Junior A Challenge which will be held in Bonnyville, AB December 11-17.

At 5-9, 175 lbs he may lack some size but his skating ability, hockey sense and offensive ability make up for it, and then some.  To go along with his skill-set, he has a very competitive nature and work-ethic.
