OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Cornwall Colts goaltender Dax Easter is the Week 3 CCM Hockey Player of the Week.
The 2003 born Brockville, ON native had a record of 3-0-1-0 with a .959 SV% as he stopped 140 of the 146 shots he faced. He had victories over Nepean (34-saves), Kemptville (21-saves), and Renfrew (41-saves) with his only loss coming in a 1-0 overtime defeat against Ottawa in which he made 44-saves.
Easter began his journey with the Colts in their U18AAA program back in 2018-19 and worked his way up to the starting role in the CCHL this season. He is currently 5-0-1-0 through his 6 starts, where he has allowed just 9 goals in that span.
