The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month.
Sean James of the Smiths Falls Bears is the Player of the Month, Connor Shibley from the Ottawa Junior Senators claimed Goaltender of the Month honours, while Luka Benoit from the Nepean Raiders earned Rookie of the Month.
PLAYER OF THE MONTH | SEAN JAMES
The 2002 born Almonte, ON native finished 2nd among CCHL skaters in Points (22) while tying all skaters with 14 goals in just 14 games as he helped the Bears to a Robinson Division best 9-4-0-1 record.
GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH | CONNOR SHIBLEY
The 2003 born Ottawa, ON native posted a 6-1-0-0 record with 1 shutout, while leading all CCHL netminders with a .938 SV% and 1.99 GAA as he and goalie partner Rorke Applebee helped Ottawa to the top record in the CCHL.
ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | LUKA BENOIT
The 2005 born Ottawa, ON native finished tops among CCHL rookie skaters with 11 points, which included a CCHL rookie best 8 goals in 13 games of action.
