CCM Hockey Performers of the Month announced for January

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for January.

Ryan Richardson from the Smiths Falls Bears is the Player of the Month, Devon Levi of the Carleton Place Canadians brings home Goaltender of the Month honours, while Dovar Tinling from the Hawkesbury Hawks claims Rookie of the Month.

 

PLAYER OF THE MONTH | RYAN RICHARDSON

The 2001 born Stittsville, ON native and Clarkson University commit led all skaters in January with 21 points (9G, 13A) in 12 games of action, helping the Bears to a 9-2-0-1 record in that span. On the year, Richardson sits fifth overall in league scoring with 56 points (24G, 32A) in 48 games of action.

 

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH | DEVON LEVI

The 2001 Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC native and Northeastern University commit posted a 7-1-0 record in January with a 1.38 GAA, .950 SV%, and 2 shutouts. On the year, Levi is tops among all CCHL major goaltending statistical categories with 30 Wins, a 1.35 GAA, .946 SV%, and 8 shutouts.

 

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | DOVAR TINLING

The 2003 born Pointe-Claire, QC native finished tops among all rookies in January with 13 points (6G, 7A) in 10 games of action, helping the Hawks to a 7-3-0-0 record. On the season, Tinling leads all rookie skaters with 41 points (15G, 26A) in 39 games of action.
