Ottawa, ON – The Renfrew Wolves took the lead in their series against the Rockland Nationals winning 5-1 on Saturday night.

The first period saw Noah VomScheidt strike first for Renfrew, setting the tone early. In the second period, Jace Letourneau netted two goals, supported by Austin Fellinger’s contribution, extending Renfrew’s lead. The lone response from Rockland came in the third period, with Guillaume Labre finding the net. However, Renfrew maintained control as Dane Carter added another goal. Goaltender Benoit Forget started strong with 18 saves for Renfrew before Sebastian Resar took over and made 13 saves. Renfrew’s Viacheslav Gordeichuk also made a significant impact with 27 saves.
