CCHL Recap | Nationals Wins Monday Night

Ottawa, ON – There was one game in the Central Canada Hockey League. The Rockland Nationals traveled to the Pembroke Lumber Kings, where in an overtime victory, the Nationals won 3-2.

Cam Hicklin struck first for Pembroke in the 1st period, answered swiftly by Trystan-Felix Tremblay for Rockland. The 2nd period saw another goal from Hicklin for Pembroke, matched by Alex Kelloway for Rockland. The intensity heightened in the 3rd period, but neither team could break the deadlock. Overtime proved decisive as Josh O’Connor clinched victory for Rockland. Goaltenders Benoit Forget of Rockland and Kevin Jones of Pembroke were in net, with Forget making 21 saves and Jones stopping 27 shots
