CCHL Recap | Junior Senators & Bears continue strong play

 

OTTAWA, ON – Two games of CCHL action on Wednesday night saw the Ottawa Junior Senators and Smiths Falls Bears edge their opponents.

 

F | OTTAWA 4 ROCKLAND 3 SO

Anton Sorensen, Lucas Staresinic, and Emile Villiard scored in regulation, Mickael Hebert netted the Shootout winner, while Rorke Applebee made 25-saves as Ottawa improved to 12-4-2-0 on the season. Rockland, who fell to a record of 8-5-1-2, had goals from Patrick Lanthier, Adriano Lombardo-Tullo, and Charles Locas, while Hadyn Gould made 32-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 4 RENFREW 3

Matthew Dimaline, Sean James, Ty Campbell, and Owen Watson scored goals, while Dawson Labre made 35-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 12-4-0-1 on the year. Renfrew, who fell to 8-6-1-1, had goals from Brendan Waivada, Thierry Lizotte, and Elvis Slack, while Nolan McDowell made 24-saves in the loss.
