CCHL Recap | Grads Win Tuesday Evening

Ottawa, ON – The Navan Grads hosted the Hawkesbury Hawks for a Tuesday evening matchup. After 60-minutes the Grads won 9-0 against the Hawks.

Navan’s offense was relentless, especially in the first period, where Nicholas Paone, Colin Holmes, Kiki Brown and Gabriel Crete (2 goals) swiftly built a substantial lead. The second period saw Navan extending their advantage with goals from Devon Savignac, Gabriel Crete (earning a hat trick) and Danik Marion. Closing out the game, Noah Carpenter added another goal in the third period. Hawkesbury’s goaltenders, starting Dimitri Pelekos who made 8 saves, replaced by Caleb Chabot who made 19 saves. On the other end, Navan’s goaltender, Jaeden Nelson, made 26 saves, securing a shutout victory.
