CCHL Recap | Four Games of Action Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – There were four games of action through out the CCHL region on Sunday which saw victories from the Cornwall Colts, Carleton Place Canadians, Navan Grads, and Pembroke Lumber Kings.

 

F | CORNWALL 4 SMITHS FALLS 2

Ben Lapier, Ethan Montroy, Fernand-Olivier Perron, and Tristan Miron tallied goals, while Cameron Hollands made 19-saves as Cornwall improved to 9-8-1-0 on the year. Smiths Falls, who fell to a record of 13-5-0-1, had two goals from Riley Thompson, while Dawson Labre made 32-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 7 NEPEAN 2

Derek Hamilton scored a hat-trick, Evan Jamieson, Loic Prudhomme, Aidan Cooper, and Thomas Dickey scored singles, while Jackson Pundyk made 28-saves as Carleton Place improved to 10-5-0-1 on the season. Nepean, who dropped to 3-11-0-2, had goals from Luca Ricciardi and Nicholas Larkin in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 4 HAWKESBURY 1

Cayden Faust scored twice, Justin Mauro and Owen Parsons added singles, while Braedyn McIntosh made 27-saves as Navan improved on the season to 12-5-2-0. Hawkesbury, who dropped to 9-5-1-3, had their lone goal from Landon Brownlee, while Dimitri Pelekos made 41-saves on the losing end of things.

 

F | PEMBROKE 3 BROCKVILLE 1

Pratt Stetson, Colin Vassallo, and Cam Hicklin scored, while Ben Forget made 35-saves as Pembroke improved to 5-11-0-1 on the year. Brockville, who fell to 8-9-0-0, had their lone goal from Colin Elliott, while Philip Rondina made 19-saves in the loss.
