CCHL Recap | Eight Teams in action Friday Night

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games across the CCHL region on Friday night saw victories from the Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, Renfrew Wolves, and Smiths Falls Bears.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 2 OTTAWA 1 OT

Ty Henry scored in regulation, Aidan Yarde netted the overtime winner, while Sami Molu made 23-saves as Brockville improved to 3-5-0-0 on the season. Ottawa, who fell to 6-1-1-0, had their lone goal from Wil Murphy, while Rorke Applebee finished with 32-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 3 PEMBROKE 1

Antoine Dorion, Aidan Stubbings, and Jeremy Tremblay scored goals, while Dimitri Pelekos made 37-saves as Hawkesbury improved on the season to 4-3-1-1. Pembroke, who dropped to 2-6-0-0, had their lone goal from Raphael Seguin, while Ben Forget made 35-saves in the loss.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 6 ROCKLAND 2

Trevor Faucher and Riley Thompson scored two goals apiece, Owen Watson and Alec Hamady added singles, while Will McEvoy made 25-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 5-3-0-1 on the season. Rockland, who fell to 5-1-1-1, had goals from Adriano Lombardo-Tullo and Patrick Lanthier, while Hadyn Gould made 36-saves on the losing side of things.

 

F | RENFREW 6 KEMPTVILLE 5 OT

Noah Vom Scheidt scored twice, including the overtime winner, Joey Kennelly, Jamie Hylands, Elvis Slack, and Tyson Tomasini had singles, while Ian Michelone made 29-saves as Renfrew improved to 6-2-0-1 on the year. Kemptville, who fell to 2-6-1-0, had goals from Chase Lammi, Patrick Haughian, Grady Logue, Benjamin Campeau, and Hunter Brazier, while Jacob Biron made 30-saves in the loss.
