A quick goal in the first period by Dominic Martin getting Cornwall on the board 1-0. Second period came with three goals in favour of Cornwall with two goals from Kobe Tallman and one goal from Tristian Miron. Third period summary, Carleton Place got two goals at the start of the period from Will Soloway and Owen Brady. Tristian Miron gets his second goal of the night for Cornwall and Nicolas Gingras gets Cornwall their sixth goal of the night. Ian Vandenberg started in net for Carleton Place and ended with 14-saves, Jackson Pundyk goes into net and ends with 13-saves. Cornwall goaltender Donald Hickey ends with 29-saves.
